PD shielded room, also known as faraday, can be used to eliminate electromagnetic field interference, in order to make the suitable PD noise background when carry out partial discharge test in accordance with IEC 60270.
It is suitable for partial discharge experiment and impulse test in different voltage band (110kV, 220kV, 500kV, 750kV, 1000kV) of power cables, power transformers, instrument transformers, HV switches etc.

The design and size of the shielded room will be ***ermined depending on the specific application. They are separated into a test and control room.
